About Da Nello
Our History
da nello first opened its doors in 1978, founded by restauranter, Nello Ciotti. Nello was joined by Head Chef, Tim Vidamour, in 1979 with Manuel Teixeira reuniting with Nello in 1995.
Since 2008 Tim & Manuel, together with their families, have owned and run the restaurant, delivering the finest Italian food Guernsey has to offer and continuing the legacy as one of Guernsey's top restaurants.
Located in the heart of St Peter Port, Guernsey, the restaurant is housed in a 500 year old building which has been extensively renovated over the years, whilst at the same time retaining it's charming character
Our main restaurant features floor to ceiling Guernsey granite, offering a warm and cosy atmosphere for you to enjoy.
Over the years we have extended the restaurant to include 'Il Cortile' (the courtyard) with its glass atrium that creates a unique al fresco feel, while affording comfortable ambient surroundings.
At the rear of the restaurant is 'La Saletta', a more intimate space which can be utilised as part of the main restaurant but can also be reserved for private dining, special events or functions.
We are proud to bring you a unique dining experience which celebrates Guernsey long tradition of quarrying, whilst also embracing the very essence of Italian dining.
